![]() Hitting that bump racked the entire toolbox frame, the skin on the back bulged out and the front casters tilted badly. *My alignment tech at work bought a Matco 4s 2-bay ($3900) and when the Matco guy took it off the truck he had to wheel it over a small bump (3/8") to get it into the shop from the parking lot. Don't worry about having a name brand box or being laughed at by other techs - I've never gotten or lost a job on the type, size, brand, or color of my box. Considering it was $7000 less than an equal size snapon box, that is a LOT of tools and training for a young guy starting out. My main cab is the same as they sell (sadly not from them - I paid a little more) and has held up to 4 years abuse in the shop with no issue. If OP has the upfront cash, consider one of the boxes from site sponsor strictly toolboxes. My 30" wide side locker has 25" wide drawers. Looks good, increases strength, totally wastes a ton of space. That said, the one bitch I have about Mac boxes is the beveled corners. Either MAC box series tends to be a little heavier and better built than the snapon KRA and matco 4/5 series. The self-closing drawer slides on the cart are awesome, and the "new" boxes are supposed to be coming with them soon. I have a Mac side locker and their new service cart setup, and I find the quality to be acceptable.
